"El Henry" opens during TCG conference
El Henry opened last night in San Diego's east village to a packed house.
Produced by La Jolla Playhouse in association with the San Diego REP, the audience was filled with theatre professionals from across the country, in town for the TCG conference.

Written in a unique poetic cadence called Calo, which mixes urban Spanish and English slang, this world-premiere adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Part One explores the universal themes of this classic through the lens of Mexican-American machismo.
